وافقت اللجنة التشريعية في مجلس النواب المصري ، على مشروع قانون مقدم من الحكومة،
بتعديل بعض أحكام قانون مكافحة الإرهاب رقم 94 لسنة 2015.
أشارت الحكومة المصرية، فى المذكرة الايضاحية المقدمة من وزير العدل
أن مشروع القانون يواجه خطر جرائم الارهاب التى تهدد الأسس التى تميز الدولة عبر تاريخها الطويل
من الأمن والأمان ويسعى إلى سد الطريق أمام مختلف صور الايواء للعناصر الارهابية
أو توفير الملاذ الآمن لهم أو الوسائل التى تساعدهم على التخفى بعيدا
عن اعين الجهات المختصة بتنفيذ أحكام القانون بالدولة
فى ضوء ما اظهره الواقع العملى من صعوبة تنفيذ احكام المصادرة التى اوجبها قانون مكافحة الارهاب
والرغبة فى اتاحة المجال لاستعمال النيابة العامة او سلطة التحقيق المختصة السلطة المقررة فى هذا الشأن.
يواجه مشروع القانون استغلال العناصر الإرهابية للعقارات السكنية المستاجرة
فى تسهيل ارتكاب جرائمهم واخفاء الاسلحة والادوات المستخدمة وايواء العناصر الاجرامية.
ويتضمن المشروع وضع ضوابط تنظم الية الاخطار بتأجير العقارات كخطوة استباقية
للوقاية من خطر الارهاب ورصد العقوبة المناسبة على من خالف هذا الالتزام.
وينص مشروع القانون على مصادرة العقارات
نتيجة للحكم الصادر بالادانة واقرار سلطة النيابة العامة او سلطة التحقيق المختصة
بحسب الاحوال فى غلق اماكن تصنيع او تصميم الاسلحة التى استخدمت فى اية جريمة ارهابية.
